You are registered for the class of your choice upon our receipt of your payment of the class fee. At that time you will be given a supply list and any pre-class instructions. We cannot reserve a space for you unless you have paid your class fee.

We offer a 15% discount on class supplies as listed on supply lists. Due to copyright laws, we do not allow photocopies of patterns or books to be used in classes without written permission from the author. Please refer to class supply lists for information regarding a required book or pattern.

All pre-class instructions must be completed prior to the beginning of class to insure that the instructor will have maximum opportunity to assist you with all sections of the lesson plan, and to help you finish the lessons completely and on time.

If the shop or the instructor cancels a class, you will be notified at least 72 hours prior to its scheduled meeting. If the class is canceled due to a failure to meet the minimum required number of students, a refund of class fees will be given, or if the class is offered at a later date, you will have the option to take the same class at another date. Due to space limitations and our desire to give each student individual attention as needed, classes are limited to six students—four for some classes.

Please do not bring children to class.

QuiltSmiths thanks you for your cooperation. We hope your class is an enjoyable experience. If we can be of any assistance on fabric selection, or if you have any questions, please let us know.

Note: *Make sure your sewing machine is in good working order. Clean, oil, and test run before class. We have a limited supply of sewing machines available on a first come basis. Please bring your own all-purpose sewing thread in a neutral color if using our machines.

You must know how to thread your machine, rewind the bobbin, and change the needle yourself. A machine with straight stitching capabilities is sufficient for most classes. We will notify you on the specific class supply list if special stitches (other than a basic straight stitch) are needed.
